2010-2011 season

Cumbria Rural Choirs are one of the largest amateur choirs in the country which after a successful 60th year concert of David Fanshawe's 'African Sanctus' proposes two concerts in the 2010-2011 season:

Come and Sing Haydn's The Creation with us in St John's Church Keswick on 16th October
Creation - Soloists - Susan Fullelove (Soprano), Ian Wright (Tenor) and Paul Imthurn (Bass)
Organist - John Green

join us to sing in the Annual Concert in St Cuthbert's Carlisle on 12th March 2011which will include:

Parry - I was Glad
Bach - Singet dem herrn
Palestrina - Stabat Mater
Rutter - Magnificat

Much of this concert is for double choirs - come and join in the thrill of singing these great works.

If you don't belong to one of the affiliated choirs, if you are an experienced singer, you will be welcome to join us, - please see the rehearsal schedule and join us at the first rehearsal on 23rd September at Nelson Tomlinson School in Wigton at 7.15pm
