2011-2012 season
Cumbria Rural Choirs are one of the largest amateur choirs in the country. In its 62nd year the choir is welcoming Andrew Padmore, destinguished choral and orchestral conductor who will conduct our concert next year.He is Pricipal Conductor and Artistic Airector of Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir and Music Director of Harrogate Choral Society and is well known for his dynamic choral workshops.

Andrew Padmore will be conducting a Choral Day on Saturday February 18th at Ullswater Community College, Penrith from 10am to 4pm
The Annual Concert in St Cuthbert's Carlisle on 31st March 2012 will include:
Brahms - German Requiem
Handel Coronation Anthems: 'Zadok the Priest' and 'The King shall rejoice'
Conductor Andrew Padmore
Soloists: Maxine Taylor- Soprano and Che Seabourne- Baritone
Cilla Grant and Ian Hare - Piano and organ
